Care & Preservation
- Before first use : Apply a light layer of leather balm to the leather sections to soften the hide and protect it from the elements.
- After every ride : Use a damp sponge to wipe away sweat and grease. This stops salt from building up and keeps the leather from cracking.
- The grip : Wipe the anti-slip inner grip with a damp cloth to remove dust. Do not apply leather oils or balms to the grip, as this will make it slippery.
- Hardware : Occasionally wipe the buckles with a dry cloth to keep them clean and polished.
- Storage : Store in a cool, dry place. Using a breathable bridle bag is recommended to protect the leather from dust and damp.
